lmao at the link…thanks for that.
Haha… i shortened this and read it out as an outro on one of my sets (Shirtless Sessions 18… i think?). I really like the idea that Obi-Wan was watching Luke to either train him in the ways of the Jedi, or to kill him if he shows signs of following his father’s path. Also like the idea the R2 is a spy and plays a much bigger role than it appears, as well as Chewie.
But in reality, this is someone just trying to explain all the bullshit that Lucas put in the prequels that really fucked up the storyline (R2 can’t fly and should/would have his memory erased, chewie was not a commander for Kashyyk and did not control Han, medichlorians… wtf?). Too bad Lucas couldn’t have explained any of this in the actual movies and somehow we need some geek to over analyze it to slightly justify all the crap that Lucas did (I would fight Lucas if I ever saw him!)…
… Because we all know that despite how cool and shiny the prequels were, they completely sucked balls in comparison to the originals (yes, even episode III… stop kidding yourselves!)
This is another oldy but one of my favorite star wars quotes/conversations…
